A Sumptuous Solstice at the Glowing Hearth
Kindred Souls gather by fireside glow singing songs that beckon the sun's warmth to grow.
Visions woven by candle's light.
Nourishing foods shared with joyful delight.
Mid-winter's chill cannot cross this threshold where we welcome our friends, both the new and the old.
Join us at our home sanctuary to mark the shortest day and longest night of the year as we delve deep within to nurture our intentions for the brighter times to come.
The Winter Solstice, or "Yuletide," has long been celebrated as the true end of the solar year and the tender beginning of a new cycle. In the depth of these dark winter months, we snuggle close to the warmth of the fire and the healing company of dear ones to sit in the void and await the return of the light. What better to do as we wait in the darkness than share stories, ritual, songs, embodiment, hand-crafted meals, music, and the ancient tradition of the Yule Log to nourish our bodies, hearts, and spirits.
